The Iconic Gillette Fatboy adjustable safety razor was only made by the Gillette company for four years from 1958 to 1961 and preceded the Gillette Slim adjustable which was made from 1961 until 1968. Both the Gillette Fatboy and the Slim have a setting range from 1 to 9 , 1 being the most mild shave 9 the most aggressive.
